Student Visa -> Work Visa

Hi everyone...
In 2009, I spent 5 weeks in Toronto studying English. I fell in love for Canada, but I couldn´t stay any longer because I had to return to my country to finish my graduation. Now I´m planning to return, but I want to stay for some time.

Once it´s hard to find a job without being in Canada, I would like to go again with a Student Visa and, then try to find a job there. Once I got the job, I would then try to change my visa status to 'Temporary Work Visa'. Has anyone gone through this experience?
