Hi all, 

Just wanted to know if anyone from Dubai on the Board.

  1. I'm interested to apply under skilled worker program 
  2. i'm working in UAE since the past 3 years and would like to apply from UAE itself
  3. I am not planning to go through any agent / lawyer for filing purpose
  4. I only want to file my application individually
  5. I would like to know if i can send my application duly filled with photocopies of all documents at 

    Canadian visa office

    Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates


    Do they accept direct applications for Immigration or only cater to visit / student visa services. 

    Anyone who has applied through this kindly help me out.

1. Start by reading www.cic.gc.ca to see if you qualify in the list of "29" occupations. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list If you don't have 1 years experience in the list, without either an Approved Employment Opinion from an employer in Canada, or have worked/studied in Canada you don't qualify.
2. If you qualify and have 67 points your application and the supporting documents go to CIO Sydney Nova Scotia. If you pass the screening, the application would be processed in London.
