We got an email from Manila Immig: saying that:
My spouse' paper is in queue for a review by an officer.
 
do u think thats good news? or what can we expect after that? and how long would that be?
 
at least they replied: now we are talking business and we are not talking to a rock.
 
so seldom they would respond.

It certainly is good news, immigration informing you of what their doing, goes to show that something good will be happening. I never got email from them informing me of anything. You're just weeks of getting the good news.
Any news from Tricks, he's been silent for weeks now.

sana nga good news. kinukulit ko kasi sa email. e kasi di naman tlaga sila mahagilap pag sa phone. email lang tlaga. 

pero sana nga:

hello sa inyong lahat dito.. magtatanong lang po since mga naging under kayo ng live-in caregiver program baka may idea naman kayo sa question ko. meron kasi akong kilala na kakarating lang sa canada as live-in caregiver. may nageencourage kc sa kanya na magvolunteer work sa isang facility. pwede ba yon? like yung 2 days off nya ba pwede nya ivolunteer or hindi pwede? kasi sa pagkakaalam ko din ang full time live-in caregiver is bawal magwork sa iba.. hindi lang ako sure kung pwede magvolunteer. any answer will  help po. tnx

mine is moving to progress.:)

he just had his medical done last week. hopefully we get to have his passport request soon.

and by Nov or Dec hes here, or sooner than that.

That's a positive development, it's really a nice feeling , knowing that your apps is moving. I know what you're experiencing, but for sure when this is over, you will forget whatever sacrifice you have encountered with this process, family being together again is so big reward that you'll forget about CIC. As for me , am now busy working, experiencing what Canada is really like, but so far no complaints. Hope to hear good news from you soon.
