You may want to engage a lawyer at least for a consultation to see what's up with your case, though it's not out of ordinary to be waiting as long. If you choose the lawyer option, send me a direct message and I will share a name that I received from another forum member. I contacted the lawyer and was quite impressed. If you choose this option, make sure you request your GCMS notes and physical file notes to make the most of the consultation - you will pay around $300 for it.

Otherwise, just sit and wait.

After receiving encouraging news from the call centre 6 months ago and writing to request that if possible my (reportedly about to be scheduled) oath be on Canada Day, I have received nothing since.  Checking my file online, I don't even see a notation that my RQ was received, although I do have the postal receipt and the name and number of the agent who said 6 months ago that everything was in order.

Do others have anything in the online file to indicate that their RQ has been  received or is in process?

Mine was completed more than a year ago.  I am now approaching 42 months post application.   Getting just a wee bit concerned.

Thanks!

Almost 36 months deadline - Summer of 2012 was the test - and now I hear back for a re-test in 10 days (this is for my wife). Her ATIP shows PASSED for test results. RQ was filed too. Why is this a re-test now? Who can I contact?

Waiting for wife to come home from work. But I am pretty sure they will be useless given they can't dig into the file anyhow. Would drop by in Toronto CIC office help or that it is the same as CIC?

Am I missing something? below is from ATIP received files. Does this "Passed" mean something else other than PASSING the Citizenship Test?
