anybody who already gave interview post here

and if someone is refused then please tell why refuse and what was the main reason
what questions were asked and why didn't they convince ?
it will help them all of us

There's several reasons why someone might be refused. Some are technical - for example criminal inadmissibility or if the applicant doesn't qualify as a member of the family class (this happens for example if a person was married when they became a PR but did not disclose their spouse to CIC). There's not much one can do about those.

Usually though the reason for the refusal is CIC thinking the relationship is not genuine. They might think the applicant is trying to scam the sponsor or that they're both in on it. What makes them think that varies between visa offices. For example, in India it might be an issue if a couple didn't have a religious ceremony while in the US that would be perfectly normal. There can also be issues if the woman is older than the man. If the man is the older one, it's less often an issue. Not fair perhaps, but that's how it is. Basically, anything that seems "off" can make them suspect the relationship isn't genuine.

We were concerned that there would be issues in our case as we got married 2 months and 22 days after we met.... and my husband is 16 years younger than me. but as you can see, clearly CIC wanted an interview to question those concerns and certainly asked questions pertaining to them.

I laughed when she asked him how his Mom felt about him marrying an older woman!
and when the Who Proposed question came & how did you react... I laughed again when he told her that he said he had to ask his mother.

BTW: My husband is picking up his PRV today. The IO advised that if his medical & police report had not expired he would have been asked for his Passport that day, PRV would have been approved immediately and he would have been going home with me that week.

Oh I wish my case would have not been refused. My hubby is just 12 years my junior. I suppose being denied visa comes down to luck, chance, or numbers, the visa post, etc. My hubby is in Pakistan, we still don't know why visa office would not believe my husband's honest truthful answers to interview. Now we are in appeal application process, hope is all we have, but it is some hard to keep hope alive after being kicked down continuously.
