if you are self-employed, show your business registration as well as any evidence
of your existing business (tax returns, information concerning
number of employees, balance sheets, income statements, bank statements
showing transactions, etc.);
Also make sure to have your invitation letter notarized. it is not a mandatory thing to do, however, having notarized stamp may only eliminate chances of refusal |

hey vic_guys3, i had my mother come visit me twice so far and every time i had to provide an invitation letter supported by any documents that would aid her with her application.
she never send a copy of her flight tickets because we were first waiting for visa to be approved. I would submit a notarized letter of invitation and also paystabs or bank draft showing you have enough money to support her stay. We also noted any places that she would be visiting and proof of her job and family ties. |

sorry about this but I just thought of another question... Does my family need to send copies of return tickets with their visit visa applications? 2 tickets cost about 3500 dollars and at the end we may get rejected. I guess my question really is: DO people buy tickets before visa is issued?
Thanks

1 more question. If they apply as tourists, does that mean they have to show a strong financial situation. Because my parents dont have a look of money.
If they apply for a family reunion or family visit, in this case, I have to show strong financial situation. I believe I am in stronger financial situation than my mother and sister. But on the other hand, I have read that people got rejected when they used family reunion as purpose of visit.
Not sure what to do here. Suggesstions?

dpatel,
Thanks much for your answers. This definately helps. If I apply together, and they decide to reject my sister's application, would they automatically reject my mother's application as my sister is dependent on my mother?
Thanks
