Hi singh111,
Just follow the checklist. On the nomination pamphlet, you have the website URL's you need. Just follow them. Read very carefully and understand the instructions. Before you submit them, make sure that you have extra copies and keep them. This will be at least a guide on the documents and forms you have submitted just in case they will ask something from you. Good Luck!

Dear Delhi PNP family stream applicants

I am in the process of sending the forms to CIO.
Can anyone kindly reply what happens next?

1) Will Delhi send medical request straight away? or

2) Does Delhi ask for more documents etc before sending medicals? If yes, what documents and forms does Delhi ask for?

Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Hi Fellow forum mates,

I hope you will find this message soon and will be able to help me.

On this forum I saw that for some people (like Mr. Deol), CIC will keep the original passport for 4 months to stamp the VISA.

Actually I also got the request for passport today, but they said I need to submit ASAP within 4 to 5 days. I am staying in Singapore on Work Permit presently. Now If I send my passport via courier (coz If I come to India to submit it, I wont be able to go back without passport and eventually lose my job), I might have to wait for 4 months to get it back. Which will mean that If anytime in between these 4 months, I need to go out of SIngapore, then I will be in trouble without a passport here.

So do u have any information regarding how long does CIC keep your original passport for VISA stamping. In between if you require it urgently will they give it back?

Will really appreaciate your kind assistance.

Regards,
Gurpinder Singh
