The Honourable Chris Alexander, P.C., M.P. Hello Sir, I
hope you will be in good mood, recently I have read yours good biography which
showed that you have very good experience and especially remain in world tough
country Afghanistan. Before submitting my suggestions for effective Canada Immigration
(at the end of yours good biography),first I shall say warm welcome on
appointment as “Minister of Citizenship and Immigration”
Riding: Ajax-Pickering (Ontario) Chris Alexander was elected
to the House of Commons in 2011 for the riding of Ajax-Pickering. Prior to
entering federal politics, Mr. Alexander served Canada as a diplomat for
18 years. He served at the Canadian
Embassy in Moscow from 1993 to 1996 and again from 2000 to 2003. During the
four years between these postings he was Assistant to the Deputy Minister, then
Deputy Director (Russia) in the Eastern Europe Division at Foreign Affairs. In 2003, Mr. Alexander
became Canada’s first resident Ambassador in Kabul, Afghanistan. From 2005 to
2009, Mr. Alexander served as Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary
General for Afghanistan, with responsibility for political affairs, rule of
law, governance and police reform. He is the author of ‘The Long Way Back:
Afghanistan's Quest for Peace,’ published in 2011. Chris Alexander grew up in
Toronto. He has a BA from McGill University and an MA from Oxford University. Mr. Alexander was named one
of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. He is also one of the World Economic Forum's Young
Global Leaders. In 2007, he received the Atlantic Council of Canada Award and
in 2010, the Birchall Leadership Award. In May 2011, Mr. Alexander
was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence. He
was appointed Minister of Citizenship and Immigration in July 2013. He lives in Ajax, Ontario,
with his wife Hedvig and their two daughters.” Sir, As above mentioned biography showed that
you have great potential to bring main changes in Canada Immigration
effectively by laws if such measures are taken as being mentioned under: 1.
Since, due to backlog FSW (Pre-27
February, 2008) was created due to shortage of staff or any administration
problems at Canadian High Commission in different countries of the world and
ultimately law was made to return the fee that left very much bed effect on
Canadian Immigration earn bed reputation, since it is great injustice that
after long period of wait if applicants were asked for return of fee. Due to
this all potential applicants, who could economically beneficial for Canada for
future started thinking about the change the immigration to another countries. 2.
The solution of backlog was not
difficult rather was easy if home work was done by some genius experts and
opinion were taken from different potential applicants from the entire world. In
my opinion the numbers of applicants Pre-27 February, 2008(FSW) were not in great
numbers (about more than 600000 to 400000) as compare to area of Canada. This
problem could be solved if all applicants who have crossed their period more
than 42 months should be granted visa for one year for Canada and they were
asked to reach Canada and settle at their own expenses or all applicants were
allotted area by choice of Federal
Government in different provinces of Canada, so that burden on one province
could be reduced. If this offer by the Federal Government was accepted that
applicant settles himself where Government of Canada considers best, than visa
for one year was issued with family. If applicant within one year showed that
they are satisfied in settlement in Canada where Federal Government allotted
the area than they should be granted immigration permanently, and if applicant
did not settle then they could return. Options could be made in this context
are many. For example if any applicant is allotted area is not suitable then
applicant choice was considered or province government offered for
consideration for that applicant. If there is no solution in stay at Canada
then applicant was allowed to stay for three years or if applicant did not
satisfy he could return but again could not enter in Canada if left the Canada.
Others many options could be considered to in order to facilitate in settlement
of the applicants in Canada. 3.
Now it is time to change or bring
the new law for applicants of Pre-27 February, 2008, in parliament and house of
common for discussion. 4.
If visa are granted to all applicant
of Pre 27 February,2008 applicant then the burden of office work could resolved
by using fast computers and IT technology by recording TWO THING SIMPLY, 1-Personal Identification
Record in which first biometric (Finger
prints of both hands including all finger’s prints by electronic pad, three
dimension Photos-front-left side-right side-close face photo-full photo in
standing position and with also family members-blood group-eye colors-if more
safe side is needed in any countries like Afghanistan or other country than DNA
identification ) and scanned the Passport record, Identification Card of parent
country etc.on computer by CIC -of all applicant with family at High Commission
or Embassies of Canada, in different countries, could be managed easily and in
this regard any international company could be assigned this job just to record
the data of applicants, since, many companies are doing their best job for
different countries. 2-Academic
Qualification and Work Experience Record in which all
certificates, diplomas, degrees and work experience certificates & all
others documents could be scanned from original and saved in computers under
CIC strict custody for permanently and attached with application, in this way
paper work be avoided to maintain the record of such huge numbers of
applicants. To avoid backlog in future this procedure will be beneficial,
economical, efficient, fast and more secure for security propose and will
minimize the chances of fraud. And all recorded data will be used in Canada by
all boarder agencies or airport authorities and other Canada’s government’s
authorized agencies in Canada. Electronic Record (e-Record-passport-documents-biometrics
etc.) is more secure than paper record and easily manages and checked when ever
needed every place in world. For Record of above mentioned thing CIC computer
section or from any international agency for software, should generate its own
software for CIC safe side. By e-record visa issuance and immigration case
processing will be finalized within days or hours to avoid backlog in future. 5.
In this way, if authenticated
e-record is available then the visa officer will easily decide within few hours
for issuance of visa or decision of immigration. And language test of Degree
holder from all Universities of Pakistan, since medium is English in all
Universities, (Master Degree/PhD) should be waived out. 6.
Most important is that after
recording the data of all applicants then CIC should prepare plan for
settlement of immigrants in all through the Canada because applicants coming
first time in Canada could not know where should go as compare to CIC or
Government of Canada of provinces of Canada know better that where immigrant
suitable for settlement. 7.
The most important thing if it is
considered by Government of Canada or discuss in parliament or house of common
that Canada Government should build about 600000 houses for immigrants all
through the Canada in every province according to need of that area and these
houses were allot to every new immigrant if apply for residence for about six months
to one year. This residence facility will be for six months for new immigrant
then they have to vacate, for next new coming immigrant outside the Canada,
within six months or early after settlement anywhere. The hire of house for six
months will be deposited advance before issuance of visa. Landing of applicant
at that area will be managed by advance air ticket fare and food expenses for
two month could be deposited which may be optional. In the immigration the main
problems for every new immigrants are, residence, travelling expenses, food
which could be solved if above measures are taken then Canada Government will
easily settle new immigrants and backlog will be reduced. In this regard
seminar at Canadian High Commissions in different countries should be arranged,
in which applicant participants may be invited to get valuable suggestion about
effective Canada immigration. Sir, thank you.
Yours Sincerely,

There is no problem in that. Just show them your admission documents and if they ask about your job, tell them that before going to canada, you wanted to have some practical experience in your field thats why you have joined the job and now, again resuming your studies. Also, tell them that you have taken this admission in Pakistan because you dont want to waste the time and if the immigration application will be finalized in your father's favour, you will resume your studies in the same field in Canada.

Dear Friends,
AOA, I shared my immigration case earlier on this forum as well and just had a recent development into it. So need your sincere advice and input on the current situation. My father applied for the family immigration in 2009. I was 20 at the time of application. The process went on and we were asked to get the Medicals done in Feb, 2012 along with sending an updated application. At that time I had graduated and worked in an organization for 5 months after which I had quit my job and was jobless. We made a mistake and informed this to CHC in the updated application as we were unaware that I had to be shown as dependent and should have been shown as a student who is financed by my father to stay a part of the application. We had submitted the documents and medicals and there was no response from CHC for well over an year. Just last week, my father received a phone call and an email inviting him for an interview at the Canadian Embassy in Islamabad. His interview is scheduled for 19th June. But the situation right now has not changed much. I am still jobless and in that context a dependent on my father. But I've applied for admission in Masters program at a local university just to be on the safe side. The admission is under process and I will be a regular student in September which would make the case that I am a dependent on my father. Now, the problem that is bothering us is how to justify the 2 years that I have spent jobless (with a 5 month job period) that I am still a dependent on my father. Do you have any expert opinion on this? What if the interviewer asks my father to remove me from the application and immigrate with the rest of the family members? That is what we don't want to do because in that case my father will have to sponsor me after getting PR which would take another 2-3 years at the very least for me to get the PR. Can you please help out and give sincere suggestions on how to best prove that I'm still a dependent and can be allowed to immigrate with my family? Many thanks. Khan

Dear Friend Jason Kenney unfortunately killed many people’s dreams about coming to Canada . They have members of parliament that talk proud about this achievement. I want to thank you for signing the petition to stop Kenney and his conservatives from destroying those immigration files. There is still an opportunity for us to bring this to light and force Kenney to reverse this decision. There is a TV Channel which will invite MPs who win the voting the opportunity to speak to be interviewed and followed around. I am one of those contestants. Unfortunately in order to stop me from speaking about the 280 thousand immigration cases which were deleted the Conservatives flooded the voting. I now turn to you who were affected and ask you to help me get the interview and speak about the immigration cases. We have until Tuesday 12 o’clock noon local Toronto time to get me to win and be able to speak. I ask you to please get on the web and vote for me. http://faqmp.ichannel.ca/ You can only vote one person per computer. You can vote from many computers it does not care where you live and who you are. One Person, one vote. one computer. next 12 hours. Please spread this around the world and get people to vote.
