How it will effect on MY study visa ?

I am 31 years ,i am graduated as electrical engineer ,but all my experience in oil and gas industry ,almost 7 years.
I got acceptance letters from SAIT to study petroleum engineer.
I am Egyptian and i am working in abu dhabi for oil company ,and I submitted  my papers in the Canadian embassy in abu dhabi.

I applied for immigration under Skilled worker NOC 8222 in 2009 ,but i did not submit the update in the time .And i visited Canada for one month and I came back to abu dhabi again and continuing  working here til now.

1-How is my case strong ?
2-Is it OK  to study in SAIT instead of any university there?
