I don't think it ask for mothers maiden name, as the sponsors status is already settled
I do know that in a citizen certificate application, it asks for the individuals grandparents on both sides

Hey ColourMePanda,
I got to sign in Ecas today too. I think it is just whomever that was suppose to update finally getting around to it. They started processing it in September but you could only log into the Ecas now. It is truly sad how slow and reckless they are with people's life making decisions.

I was very happy when Ecas tracker told me that I can sign in to my Ecas. I thought that meant there is some movement in the etobicoke office. But when I saw that you were able to sign in and are timelines are the same. I figured it was the IO from the Alberta office just updating the computers. :( Made me sad.
I am hopeful to hear something soon though!

Hi there,
I was able to log into e-Cas just now. What it shows so far:
We received your application for permanent residence on June 17, 2010.
We started processing your application on August 26, 2010.
Let`s hope we hear from them now in April. |

We we able to log onto E cas today too! This makes me happy it says received Aug. 20th, and started processing Oct. 12th.
I hope we all hear good news soon! |

CEC - have you heard anything yet? a few people on another forum received AIP update on their e-cas. They applied June 16th. I haven't heard anything yet :( I applied the 18th of June though.
