I don't think it ask for mothers maiden name, as the sponsors status is already settled

I do know that in a citizen certificate application, it asks for the individuals grandparents on both sides

Hey ColourMePanda,

I got to sign in Ecas today too. I think it is just whomever that was suppose to update finally getting around to it. They started processing it in September but you could only log into the Ecas now.

It is truly sad how slow and reckless they are with people's life making decisions.

Well I take it as a blessing and they are working harder than ever now.
That is always a good thing for all of us here! :)

How are you Thara, did you receive any answers yet?

I was very happy when Ecas tracker told me that I can sign in to my Ecas. I thought that meant there is some movement in the etobicoke office. But when I saw that you were able to sign in and are timelines are the same. I figured it was the IO from the Alberta office just updating the computers. :( Made me sad.

I am hopeful to hear something soon though!
