My status still shows "Received" ???? I applied on Oct. 28th 2010.

Thank you. The officer asked us about gereral staff, like, where do I work? How many time travel? etc. He also checked my passport for two stamps cause I was outside two times. Yes, I applied with family, me and my wife. Right, he invite us for oath on Oct 19. They will send us invitation letter.

What kind of questions did the officer asked you?
Did you apply on your own or with family?
Did he say that you will be invited for oath on Oct 19?

Wow... the officer told you that your cermony will be on Oct??? how can he be so sure? My officer told me it might be in Nov sometime....but no guarantees..

Yep. Got notifications when status changed from "received" to "in process", when they put my address back on e-cas and when they transfered it to the local office.

Question for those who applied together with their families: do the kids have to be present when the parents take the test?

Who attends the citizenship ceremony

Adults and children aged 14 or over must attend the citizenship ceremony and take the oath.

Parents receive certificates of citizenship for their children under age 14. These children do not have to attend, but they are welcome.

My question was about the test, not the ceremony. Do the kids have to be there when the CIC officer calls us for document chek up?
