Hi,

One of my friend had applied through WWICS in june 2008 and got his application back in 2010.

Rejection ground was that he was not in under 38 category. He asked the money from WWICS. They were paying only 25,000/- he refused to take and file a case in consumer court chandigarh.

After 3-4 month he won the case and received Rs. 70000/- and embay fee rs 24000/- that was payed in 2008 to WWICS.

He is still persuing the cASE TO GET LITIGATION AMOUNT FROM wwics.

If any one have same case can contact him. His contact no is 9914144945.

Government of Canada announces appointments to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada

Ottawa, October 4, 2010 — Seven appointments to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) were announced today by Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney.

These experienced former members of the IRB will be able to begin hearing cases quickly after a brief training period and will help reduce the backlog of refugee claims during the period of transition to the new refugee determination system. The end of their mandates coincides with the coming into force of the Balanced Refugee Reform Act, currently scheduled to be implemented in late 2011.

Aimable Ndejeru, Joulekhan Pirbay and Sylvia Roy were appointed to the Eastern Region. Joel Bousfield, Dian Forsey, Berzoor Popatia and James Waters were appointed to the Central Region.

Created in 1989, the IRB is an independent administrative tribunal that reports to Parliament through the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism. The Board has three divisions – the Refugee Protection Division, the Immigration Appeal Division and the Immigration Division. The IRB determines refugee protection claims made in Canada, hears immigration appeals, and conducts admissibility hearings and detention reviews.
