I received the new booklet my mail this morning.
I quickly read the booklet again and I want to cry . I want my TEST BEFORE MARCH 1ST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good points : The booklet is well organised and nice/easy to read Bad points : too many details ---> 13 pages about the history of Canada ---> Sport, art section ..... ---> more bla bla bla ---> more bla bla bla ---> Did I mention more bla bla bla ? Conclusion # 1: The old booklet was obviously a joke as well as the test. I like the idea of more detailed one because as new citizens it is important to know Canada. However this new version it is way too much detailed. In the next booklet they will add the color of the Queen Victoria's underwear ! Conclusion # 2 : Mr Kenny can now say that he's done something ..... ! Conclusion # 3: The money CIC spent in this new booklet could have been used to hired a lot of CIC agents. Conclusion # $: Enjoy your reading Good luck everyone and Happy new year ! Edited by happytaz - 31 Dec 2009 at 4:41pm |

This new booklet has a lot more dates than the previous version. Do you think we should be memorizing every event date in the book?
Just seems so much material and not much online test simulation resources for this new test. |

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PREPARED STUDY GUIDE (SUMMARIZED FROM A LOOK AT CANADA BOOK). UNDER THE OLD EXAM, PLEASE PM ME. I WORKED ON IT FOR FUN HAVE 18 PAGES NICELY ORGANIZED AND SUMMARIZED.
PS I quit one of my jobs yesterday so I can have extra free time to prepare and get docs ready for RQ.... my client/employer was not the most understanding for my citizenship things so I just quit.. But on good note, so he gave me all the statements I will bring to Judge... |

Inmigrado,
Well make sure you resign on good terms, so that in case you ever need a letter of reference or etc from employer later on so you can request them later. By the way when are you expecting your test inmigrado? |
