The experience is totally different in term of order of things.

In my case, it was the interview first then the test.

I will be writing the entire experience with details end of this week.

There are unexpected things that happened, which I will mention it too.

I can't really say much at this point, as I am in a total shock!

I have seen some good signs, which no maybe will believe me.

Good luck to all.

Simon

My test is on Wednesday, so if you could share your experience, especially the differences I would really appreciate that!

Just passed the test recently. Was very easy in my mind. 19 MCQ, 1 True of False. If you read the discover canada booklet once or twice and remember the events it should be easy. I asked for my mark but the officer said I did "very well". I'll be having the interview with the oath I presume since I wasn't asked for it after passing the test.

I took my test today and fellow test taker told me that CIC never asks about information that is bound to change; as in who is the premier/mayor etc. This puts pressure on them to change answers to include the latest information.

Note: None of these questions listed below have appeared in the test I took today. I have created these question on my own from the 'Discover Canada' guide.

Sample questions:
Which country was defeated on D-day at Normandy, France during WW II?
who do we profess our loyalty to at the time of taking oath?
How many Supreme Court judges are appointed by Governor General of Canada?
Who were the first settlers in Canada?
How many Canadians died in WW I and WWII?
Whose face is on $5 bill and $10 bill?
What is federalism?
What is a responsible govt.?
[Many websites give wrong answers. Correct answer: When Upper and lower Canadas were merged again on the recommendation of Lord Durham, responsible govt. was given. Read the last paragraph on page 17]

What was Ottawa's old name? (Bytown)
Which was the last territory to join Confederation? (Nunavut)
What does CPR symbolize? (Unity)
Who are bluebirds?
Example of Canadian icon? (Snowbird)
What is recited on Remembrance day?
What was Canada's contribution to the space? (Candarm)
What are the 3 branches of Govt?
Who is the Sovereign's rep in territories? (Commissioner)
Why is Canada called Constitutional Monarchy?
What do you do as part of voting in a federal election? (Mark X and fold the ballot and hand it over to poll officials. Poll official tears off the # and you drop the ballot in the ballot box)
what does the blindfolded lady justice symbolize?

Is the order of Canada the highest military award granted to Canadians? (True or False)

After whom was the province of Alberta named after?

I found that "apnatoronto" website had a very good question bank.

Angelina is 13 years old, will CIC invite her to take citizenship test as part of citizenship application?

Whom does the Vimy memorial honor?
Who was the first woman MP?
For how many years, did the constitution refer to Canada as "Dominion of Canada?" (100 years. read last paragraph on page 18 in the guide)

Max wants to learn more about Canadian history, how can he do that?
- Through artifacts
- works of art
- museums
- all of the above

Can the PM call for a early election, if he wanted to? (Yes)
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms starts with the words: _______

I am legally prohibited from sharing questions that appeared on Citizenship test so I cannot share. Please do not pester anyone to share the actual questions that appeared on the test. This is a super easy exam and its better not to cheat. the guide only contains 56 pages so read it twice and answer questions on various websites. Apparently CIC also has sample question bank on their site.

As many of the forum member have told in the past, citizenship test is way easier than the questions other members or I have posted on this forum. I read the guide twice and did practice tests on apnatoronto.com and richmond library. I foudn that apnatoronto website had correct answers while other website were giving incorrect answers for few questions. I am in no way affiliated to apnatoronto.com - FYI.

We have used this iPad App to study for the Canadian Citizenship Test and passed, its clear and easy to use.
And it was free, I would recommend it to anyone going to write the Citizenship test.
