Yes, indeed, congratulations. It is very likely that your decision to return ahead of schedule to take the test was a wise decision. Of course, having done that, you will never know. But I am sure you are quite pleased with the outcome. Enjoy! |

Hi Guys,
I will be taking the citizenship test by end of this week at Mississauga Office. I am asking anyone who had test recently to answer the below questions: 1) Test Questions: - Do I need to memorize all mentioned dates in the Study Guide? - Does anyone remember any of the real test questions? - How difficult is the test? is it all MCQ / True & false? - Is it all written, or there is also an oral test? 2) Post-Test Interview: - Do I need to bring copy of the submitted documents in citizenship application? - What documents should I bring? - How interview is conductd? And last, how long is the waiting to receive oath invitation? Thank you in advance for your kind feedback!! Simon

The difficulty of the test is roughly the same as in online test, i.e. easy and 90% is about the basic stuff, like who's the head of the state, who becomes a prime minister or what's the capital of Canada. I didn't have a single question with a date, and only one question with a name (who was the 1st prime minister of Canada). So, clearly the guide could be used to produce much harder questions, but because of the common denominator of people of wide range of abilities taking a test, the questions created had to be quite easy. The test is all written, you have to circle a correct answer, 1 out of 4. You can check my experience here, it touches the base. All documents you need to bring are listed in the invitation papers, in case you don't have a letter, check my post. Good luck. |

Hi Fedup...I would say please try to remember those dates they will help you!
I did my test last month in Scarborough, my friend did it in Mississauga and she got the oath date after 1 week! Mississauga is quicker apparently. All 20 q's are MCQ. the 'interview' portion is just about 3 mins long, they check mainly passport stamps/ if you travelled outside etc. Congrats on getting the test date, your journey is almost complete!

Hi EasyRider,
Thank you for the valuable information that you provided about your test. My test went well, I passed but I don't know the mark. The experience is totally different in term of order of things. In my case, it was the interview first then the test. I will be writing the entire experience with details end of this week. There are unexpected things that happened, which I will mention it too. I can't really say much at this point, as I am in a total shock! I have seen some good signs, which no maybe will believe me. Good luck to all. Simon
