Sponsore family outside Canada

I am holding a PR card. I am currently working in middle east. I am planning to resign next year
Is it possible to sponsor a spouse and a son outside canadaso I can take them with me?.

	No, as a permanent resident you have to be living and working exclusively within Canada in order to be eligible to sponsor anyone - including your wife and son. Edited by RobsLuv - 07 Nov 2010 at 1:20am
