Dear Freinds 

I would like to start this discussion to share knowledge on the process of Immigration under FSW category, would like to welcome all to join the forum who had applied after Jan.2009. 

Below is my timeline : 

Application : 12 June 2009 
Application received by CIC Nova Scotia : 22 June 2009 
Email receicved from CIC requesting addition documents: 14 Aug. 2009 
Application forwarded to New Delhi Office : 18 Aug. 2009 
Documents sent to New delhi office : 08 Oct. 2009 
Online status shows Pending Review till 30 Nov. 2009 

Still waiting to hear from New Delhi CHC.

	hi, im from the philippines,,my hubby and i will be submitting our FSW application by tuesday...and i would like also to join this forum which i think would be a big help for us through some discussions and sharing experiences bout FSW scheme... tnxs so much floxs

	Hi Jassi, I have filled up all the application forms necessary and i am about to mail it before i do so had few inquiries.Apart form the application what else should be mailed out??passport port copy of principal applicant??? photographs???please do let me know the process once i send the package to central office what would be the next step..... cheers vijji

	Welcome Vijji, CIC office only needs your Application, Copy of Passports Biodata page (principle applicant), Processing Fee & Mailing lables. 6 photographs for each applicant are required to send at visa office along with all the documents. Good Luck.. Jassi..

	Hi, I am based in Mumbai and have applied for my immigration to Canada in the FSW category. My application has reached NS in Nov 2009. I am in the process of taking my IELTS exam this Saturday. I have not yet received my file number or any communication. I will surely update everyone of my progress. I would like to thank Jassi for starting this forum topic for people in our category.

	hi lafoot, i also apllied under FSW...and just mailed our application yesterday...and i will also update you guys bout our application though im from the philippines... many tnxs... floxs

	Thanks Lafoot, I would love if more and more people join this forum and share their views. Shortly you should hear from CIC as they take around 6-8 weeks processing at NS. Jassi

	Hi Jassi, I think people in our category would reach Canada around the same time give or take 12 months - it would be a good idea if we all can keep touch on some yahoo group after we get landing papers so we all can leverage each other in settling down in Canada.
