I worked in canada for 7 years legally I have the custody of my kids in my home country since 2011, in 2016 I left canada cause my ex wife went to canada and requested refugee protection due lack of skills to get a visa or job and the court wanted to take my kids away from me and thats the reason I left ( I was acepted to become a permanent resident by the province and ready to apply for federal) they tried to get a restitution of the kids in my country and was denied because I have the legal custody, meantime the mother and the kids were granted assylum as refugees she got hers but the kids are with me in my country, and I read the expiration date on their refugee status by march 2018, my question here is: if I come back to canada now they will get their status as refugees or it was cancelled and I can apply with my kids for PR with my work permit as usually I should do? thank you all who read this.
I was charged with kidnaping my own kids but a lawyers is removing those charges now.
