Is it possible to come to Canada on visit visa to look for work and then ask your employer to provide you a work visa?

If this possible, how long am I allowed to work on work visa and what are the advantages and disadvantages?

If this not possible, what is the proper way to visit Canada and look for work?

	best way --> Apply for Canadian Immigration under Skilled worker. Visitor Visa approval --> Highly unlikely for this reason. Visitor visa rules clearly state you can't take up work so I seriously doubt embassy will issue you visa with intent to find work here. You can try.
