My oath date is December 23, 2009 - Vancouver. On that day I want to apply for a Canadian passport. In the application it says that you have to give your Citizenship Card, the original. I am leaving for the United States on December 24. So when I get to customs without PR Card due to them taking it away on Oath Day and I will not have my Citizenship Card due to Passport Application. What do I do?
It says that I will get my Citizenship Card Back when I get my Passport.

I think if you apply in person you won't have to submit it, as they'll look at it and return it to you....not sure though but you can Call passport office and ask them....
