Just wanted to ask if any one has updates from Edmonton whose apps went to In Process on or before March 2013.

HI TO ALL!! IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER 2013.Any updates in Edmonton, like upcoming written test or anyone scheduled for oath taking?
I submitted my papers MAY 2012.
IN PROCESS MAY 2013.

Just an update from my side..the file has been transferred to Edmonton local CIC office on August 20, 2013. Almost 12 months after the application has been sent.

Thanks for the update. Nothing new from me as well. I went to visit my MP's office last week (Boonie Doon), thought he might do something about this long waiting time or maybe call or visit our local CIC office see what's going on. So he introduced me to her coordinator. She just went into the website and showed me that the waiting time for no RQ/Fingerprint is 25 months and 35 months for special case (Which we all know).
Then MP advised, if my waiting time goes beyond the 25 months then he should be involved.
Oh well, traditional politics I guess.

Yeah..I understand what you are saying. Just hoping that the local office moves files faster this year.

Does anyone know what happens, or how i have wait after fingerprint RQ for citizenship.

Hi, there's a thread for that here that might enlighten you as to why are some applicants getting RQ or requested for Fingerprinting, that drops you to 35 months waiting line, but you might try to read this link:

There are about 10 ceremonies in Edmonton between 22 Oct and 31 Oct. Looks like the local office is really moving the files. Any one going to any one of those from the forum?

Nothing for me as well. There were 10 ceremonies this month. I wonder what month/year are those applicants who got invited.
