Hey everyone. I have a question.

Hypothetically: I am a canadian citizen but living in Portugal. I make contact with an employer in Canada and they offer me a job. Now, having a husband and daughter that are not canadian citizens could I use my work contract to get them in and then apply for a temporary work visa for my husband? or does my employer have to do this?
