Canadian Taxes and Benefits While Living in USA

Hi Guys,

We have landed in Canada on June 6th.  We returned back to the USA after 4 days.  I am currently working on H1 visa.  My wife do not work. 
1- Do we still have to file for Taxes in Canada?
2- I have two daughters 9 and 6 years old, are they eligible for any benefits while in USA?

1. No, you are not resident for tax purposes.
2. No you don't reside in Canada, so you are not eligible for CCTB
