Hi,
I just have a quick question. Im eligible to apply for the citizenship now and will send my papers off in about 2 weeks.
After I landed in 2006 I went back to UK for 8months to finish my job and get ready to move permanent to Canada.
So my question is now, do I need for this time in Uk a police certificate or not (the time after landing)? In the guide is nothing mentioned but I still have in mind when I applied for PR that a police certificate was required for each country I have lived for longer than 6 month.
Thanks a lot.

kruemel,

no police certificates are needed when applying for citizenship. At some point after applying, CIC may request your fingerprints, usually for identification purpose. But only a small number of applicants get that request and anyway if needed they will ask for.
