Acronyms

For those of us that aren't experts on this whole immigration system, would there be a possibility of making a thread and sticking it on acronyms used here? I still have no idea what some of the things stand for - AINP, PPR, etc, etc.

I think it would be helpful if someone could clarify all these things!
