I am curious which office I would go to in order to talk to a person in order to discuss the problems with my application. I would be in Oakville so would the closest office be in Missisauga? Or should I not even go to an office and go to an embassy instead?

I'm pretty sure if you go to any CIC office for a reason other than an interview that they will not see you
You can try calling the CIC number or sending a case-specific enquiry
Used to be known here as "feb7" - there's no doubt to my gender this way
