I am international student .
On CIC website is says to contact ministry of my province to ask if my program is eligible for post graduate work permit. I am in registered massage therapy program , doing it for 8 months(I should be ok cause the minimum full time studying time is 8 months to apply for post grad work permit ) because I have transfer credits from previous school in Canada. I previously Graduated from 2 years Diploma program from public college . My school have a designated number to host international students , but I heard a news that Private career colleges graduates are not eligible for post grad work permit anymore since May 30th, 2017. My current school is private , teaches only massage therapy course but it has designation number. I am really confused , thank you for future clarifications. |

Hi
1. If it is a private career college, then there is an excellent chance that you WON"T get a PGWP. Your previous 2 years at the public college won't count for a PGWP as you would have had to apply within 90 days of graduation. |

HI
Thanks for response. But why would CIC make private colleges designated for international students if graduates may not be able to get work permit after graduating. That part makes me really confused. THANKS AGAIN
