With BILL C-6 receiving royal assent, the time permanent residents must be physically present in Canada will change to three out of five years before they apply for citizenship. When will this change be officially adopted by the CIC and if the residency calculator says we meet this requirement when this if official, can we apply for citizenship?
Thanks AG
