Hi mates,
I received my paper notice to appear for test very recently.
It says:
To prepare for the test, you should study the book "A Look at Canada".

I am a bit confused, which book I should study...."A Look at Canada" like the way this letter asks me or the new "Dicsover Canada".
What's up with CIC? Is that because they still use olad printed papers or I should really study " A Look at Canada"??
Please advise.

Thanks
Max!

Well, the official study guide for the citizenship test is, indeed, "Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship."

No need to be confused since, yeah, a lot of the paper CIC sends is form generated and thus riddled with irrelevant information . . . and it appears, occasionally outdated information.

By the way, can you say which office generated this notice?
Bureaucracy is what bureaucracy does, or When in doubt, follow the instructions. Otherwise, follow the instructions.

BTW: Not an expert, not a Can. lawyer, never worked in immigration

Do you mean I should concentrate Discover Canada and ignore A look at Canada???
The office is St.Claire.

All Citizenship Tests done after March 15, 2010 are now based under the study guide "Discover Canada".

"A Look at Canada" has been made obsolete. It's nationwide.

Study Discover Canada.
