So i received a passport request letter by e-mail....i'm still in canada on a tourist permit and waiting for another tourist approval (the old one expired in Sept and hoping to get the new one soon, applied for it in Sept also).
Can i stay in Canada and send my passport to London then get it sent back to Canada and just cross the border at seattle? or do i have to go home? Thanks |

Sept 19 Sent off Application to Missassauga
Sept 21 application received Oct 8th Received letter from CIC approving sponsorship, Given Client ID and e-cas login etc! Application was sent to London Nov 3rd London started processing: Medical results received. Nov 19th received personal items back AND request for additional police certificate. ( i haven't sent it yet though!) Dec 9th received e-mail for passport request (even though i haven't sent police cert??!) Really quick so far and confused as to whether or not they want the police cert?! Hopefully not! Going to send my passport from canada to London this week. almost there....i think! |

Yes, London is one of the few visa offices that will actually mail a PP outside of the country, so count yourself as d*mn lucky. Should take 2 weeks + mailing time. Congrats.

Yes, it should be a self-addressed stamped envelop (so UK stamps). Or you can open an account with FedEx, and courier your passport (gets there faster) together with a return courier envelop and completed airway bill. |
