spousal open work permit inside Canada processing

Hello .

My spouse is permanent resident . I came to Canada as visitor.
I applied for a sponsorship application and Included an Open work permit application. ( ON 5th MAY 2016) 

in CIC website it is mentioned 9 weeks for work permit  .

it is more than 13 weeks now and no feedback ..

who has experienced similar case ? 
is it usual to take longer than what they declare in their website ? 
I need to Work Cry

1. The processing time for "in Canada" spousal applicants (with valid status) is 4 months. It is not listed in the processing times.

I am in the same situation. Did you get your work permit? if yes, how long did it take to process?

My docs were received on 11/15/16 and no feedback yet.

it took me at least 6 month to get it.

My Apps were accepted in Oct 2016, it took until June 2017, to granted the open work permit, so much for a 16 week processing time. and to top all of it off , they said they mailed it on the 6th, but have I got it yet? No!
CIC has been contacted and they say its not been returned, but did they really mail it?
CIC won't issue another one for 6 weeks, and what happens to that one?
I can't get ahold of anyone most of the time and when I do they can't tell me anything.
To all that are in my shoes , good luck and I hope you have better luck with CIC than I have had.
