Car fax has a class action against it in the USA. I seen a W5 report last year that showed Carfax in the USA and Canada is very unreliable with its reports. |

CarFax is not as reliable as people think it is. Because they are hiding the facts just so they can get rid of the car (sell it off).
It's best to get the auto mechanics look at it. |

Before you buy a used car, it is always recommended that you have it inspected first.
Some garages might charge $100 - $200 for a pre purchase mechanical inspection but it could be worth it if they find $1,000's of dollars worth of problems you could be buying someone elses piece of junk.
definately worth the money to have it pre inspected.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#pr_card I friend of mine - her husband just received his 4 weeks after landing. Call CIC and ask what the hold up is - might be a problem with photos or it's lost, etc - won't know unless you phone though
