Hi All, I'm sponsoring my husband who's an italian citizen. Im Canadian, I live in Montreal Our plan is to have a foot in Canada and one in Italia since he has a son in Italy and Family in Europe. I decided that I would go stay with him in Italy and in the same time, he wants me to apply for residency so I could work there and also have medical insurance. What I want to know is that, if I do residency in Italy, can it be a conflict with our sponsoring, since sponsoring my husband is for him to come live with me in Canada. Should I wait until he gets his visa or there is no problem? Italian Immigration office will surely warn Immigration Canada that I apply for residency. We just got the Quebec certificate. I've been trying to reach CIC but no succes, they have a large amount of calls. I hope someone can answer my question. REgards Anouk
