I am thinking about applying for CSQ next year but I have a question about the immigration points on education background.
I did my first year undergradaute at a school in Monteal and I wonder if I am still eligible to apply (on a web site it says Undergraduate diploma attesting to 1 or more years of full-time studies gets 4 points) and on the Quebec immigration website, it says 1 year of undergraduate study is equivalent of 14 years of studies because of CEGEP but in fact I've done only 13 years of studies since I got my highschool diploma in BC, Canada. Where do I belong to?- how many points do i get on this? Here is my last question. Currently, I am taking a break from school but I am planning to major in Biochemistry when I go back to school soon. Let's say I go back to school and study in Biochemistry do I still get points for areas of training even though I haven't got my diploma? (biochem gets 16points) Thanks! |
