Good Morning all on this rainy day.  Hope you are all doing well. I had a restful weekend (slept away most of Saturday...lol) and hope you all did too, especially those who are back to the work grind this morning.

I would also recommend at least 2 driving lessons with an instructor - I checked every link - did every video like you and figrd Ive been driving since I was 16 - driving in the US and Canada so what could I possibly miss and my Aunt said - trust me you will be surprised - it was the best investment.

IF you want the name and number of my instructor - she is Guyanese I can give you as she's in Mississauga (she also owns a Mary Browns Chicken Franchise - which BTW is the best fried chicken in Canada - still cant touch Jamaica KFC but its close) LOL

The LITTLE things the test instructors look for that they fail you on at times are ridic!! As you drive along and do something you aren't even aware you did or didn't do they are taking points off.

Like I changed lanes in the city as she told me to do!!!! - nothing was coming - was within the speed limit as SHE TOLD me to and she took points off as I changed lanes by the entrance to a plaza - they try to trick you as well - how I know she took points off is that my instructor saw me pull out and change lanes and she asked me about it when I came back and when I saw my form even though I passed - she deducted points. Plaza entrances are all over !!!!!

Stopping to enter the road/ highway without touching the pavement - removing my indicator once I hit the exit ramp to exit the highyway - like immediately - sigh

What else -

Oh - moving your head visibly to show you are checking your mirrors and physically looking over your shoulder to check blind spots - no eye movement - head movement matters - I looked like one of them bobbing head things some people have on their back dash !! Serious...

And oh make sure when you enter the highway to enter at 100km and not 98 or 97 - must be 100 or else...even if you think 98 is good enough to get in...Sigh...


Another is parking - yes parking - not parallel parking even though you will have to do it - reversing into a space at the mall!! Stupid stupid - yes I said it but they look to see how you do it - must be done in 3 turns of your steering!! SIGH

From what I wrote can you tell I had fun? LOL A pass tho - and posted on my FB page " G baby !!!" as it did stress me out !!
