Hi all

Havent posted in a while but have been reading the posts and keeping current.  Making plans for a quick trip to Toronto in May as I slowly but surely take things bit by bit up to settle permanently with yittle man :o).

A friend of mine decided to apply recently and i decided to check the website for updates and have seen where they are actually posting now the number of apps received per NOC as of Mar 28 and caps reached etc  - maybe you all knew this already but im just seeing it. I cut and pasted below

Applications received toward the overall cap: 9,839 of 20,000 as of March 28, 2011

Applications received per eligible occupation:

8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service 76

*The number of complete Federal Skilled Worker applications received as of March 28, 2011 is approximate.

**Once the cap has been reached, we can only accept applications for this occupation from people with an existing offer of arranged employment.

NOTE: Because application intake fluctuates, these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap.

Keep the faith and never forget GOD is in control !!!!!! :o)
Hello to all new and old forum family memebrs - not calling names as I dont want to forget anyone :o)

howdy folks, hope everything is going well back in paradise.

we're doing well, exploring Ontario and seeing the sights.

we spent yesterday evening with some friends and before you knew it, it was 11 in the night. good fren really betta than pocket money. spoke bout old times, reminisced bout where we long to sit down back home to a nice well cooked meal. we beat some juice, eat some food and just hold a nice vibe. not a bad way to spend an evening at all.

the weather is quite nice, we expecting it to be about 11 degrees tomorrow. keeps on getting warmer and warmer each week. in the next few weeks, we should really be feeling the spring that all of Canada seems to be waiting for.

continue to enjoy Jamaica whie you can, cause once u get here u will know how good life was back home. if we could finally fix the economy and drastically reduce the crime rate, nubaddy wud need fi migrate at all and u wud be surprised to see how many ppl wud return.

anyway, that's enuff of my philosophy for the day.

take care of yrslvs,
likkle more.

DWL @ A_Yardie.........hush..the real spring soon come. Its funny but I too was holding a meds today and thinking along the same line....why is it that you all decided to leave Jamaica? Do you ever wonder that you are making the wrong decision. The crime this here really getting out of hand and thats my main reason for wanting to cut....feels like I'm living in a prison always nervous f when someone gonna attack me when I;m out doing my business.
