Hello All,
I have sent my PR card renewal on March 8, 2010. I need to travel to the US on July 1st, 2010 (drive, not fly). I already have my US travel visa.
According to the time mentioned on the CIC website (91 days for PR renewal), there is a possibility that my card may come around mid to end of June 2010. The margin is a little tight and hence I am not sure what I should do.

I read somewhere that one can expedite the renewal by requesting it but CIC requires proof of travel (flight tickets etc.) whereas I am just going to drive there for a small (8 to 9 days) vacation.

I guess my question is, given my scenario, how long can I wait and hope for the best before contacting CIC to expedite it?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

thanks & regards,
-RD
