Hi guys,

My AIP was approved on February 13, 2020. The letter arrived in the mail while I was out of town for 3 weeks without knowing that I have been approved. I am so thrilled with this development. I just can't believe it, but its real.

Join me in thanking God for this new thing that has happened to me, and I pray for others to have good news soon.

Congratulations to you! What's your timeline? Wishing you a speedy process the rest of the way.

@Bushra1122 your dad doesn’t need to submit police report for time spent in Canada and if he hasn’t left Canada in the last 10yrs, he may not be asked to get police report from home country

@IJN but the e-mail I got states he does need to provide an RCMP finger prints national police check. It doesn't, however, ask for a police certificate from home country.

Usually, in-land applicants are not required to provide police report from canada. There must be a reason they asked for it. If he wasn’t asked to provide one from home country it may be because he hasn’t travelled outside Canada in the last 10 yrs

It asks for police certificate for last 10 years including Canada. And you're right he hasn't travelled outside Canada in the past 10 years (18 years to be exact).
