for point 2 - i have heard of this just recently - i feel this is odd - the processing period noted in the CIC website is 32 months which includes issuance of the PR and landing interview. also the AIP letter explicitly mentions a two step process - the AIP is step 1 (which is to waive the requirements of an applicant to apply for PR) and the second stage is to determine admissibility (which is doing medical and criminality checks). 

for the call center to say that they have 32 months to finish the whole process does not seem to be in line with published processes.

Hi everyone Finally I got permanent resident status here today is my landing appointment Here is my timeline. Refugee Claim Reject 2016    Apply H&C 2017 Application recived June 2017 In process February 2018 AIP October 2018    Medical February 2019. Decision made August 5 2019 Landing 21 August
