Application in process since April 2018 , no updates . No AIP.

My friend applied in February 2018 and got aip after 5 months and she got her second stage approval after 3 months.so her application took just 8 months f everything to be be finalised

Nadel1997 what was your friend h&c ground? and was he or she was out of status?

I’ve been in process for 26 months with no AIP
Does anyone know if deported people get AIP , I mean are there 2 stages for people outside canada just like the people inside canada? Or do they make a decision on applications for people outside canada in one stage and thats it , cause whats really wierd here that I as mentioned above been waitting for 26 months , they havent asked me for medicals , nor they sent me any request since the application statred , I applied for GCMS notes and it took 4 months and I have it now , as its shows now that the application is active and the last update on it was on 10/04/2018 though it doesnt show anything that gives a clue , everything on The GCMS notes shows “ not started”
The question is why in more than 2 years nothing has started yet?!!

My friend was out of status.her husband applied to sponsore her but the application was denied bc he was not eligible so they asked for h and c considerations and it was approved.her h and c grounds were establishments in canada e.g. best interest of a child,and a family here

hopefully we are nxt one to get approval waiting for 6 months now after in process. may2, 2018 start my application to change in process

I would like to thank everyone who patiently answer my questions. Hopefully, everyone will get theirs soon.

Sep 2017- aip
Oct 2017 medical
Nov 2017 additional docs
Nov 2018 confirmation
