Anyone here who got CoPR after mid-March? I'm trying to get an idea of how long it takes to get the PR card.

Today we got a reply from our MP regarding my spouse's application.
It basically repeated same lines we heard over the phone (we are verifying the eligibility criteria etc.).
But is also had more details.
1. They said medicals were not requested because his previous results are on file (he was PR until last year when he lost it due to mis-representation). So we are hoping we can avoid those.
2. It also said if his application is rejected, he will need to leave Canada and his permit to remain will expire.
So it sounded like until his application is refused he can stay. So we are hoping this means his PRRA and HC have been combo'ed into a single file and he won't be removed until they decide his HC.

Just wanted to share this for those who are also on PRRA.

The response that MP forwarded came from a special Immigration client support team for senators and members of parliament, so it definitely helps to follow up with your MP.

Feltrinella hopefully by the time quarantine is done, your husband's application will be approved. 

getting assistance from the MP is certainly recommended especially if the case has been going on for a long time - every little helps!

if they are included in the application, then yes - but you will see the name of the child in any approval letter or any documents that pertains to their approval. if not, and if you have included a dependent child in your application, you may want to ask ircc why is that the case

you mean vancouver BRO? there are a few ircc offices in vancouver. vancouver bro's address is 800 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2G7

although not sure why you need the vancouver bro office address if you are requesting for GCMS notes?

boldon maybe I'm doing the wrong one then. Because it said I should write the address can you send me the link please if you don't mind. I was thinking the same thing too that they would approved them too but some one was telling me I'm going to have sponsored them separately... thank you soo much for this information boldon

Hi Baby g,

I want to put in a little contribution here concerning your question? 

Where are your dependents now? 

Are they in Canada or outside Canada? If they are in Canada, they will be approved along with you, If they are outside, then you have to sponsor them after you arrive as a landed immigrant.
