can you please let us know what your concerns are in terms of sending bank statements to IRCC? i would think this is no different to applying for PR thru FSW where you have to show proof of funds

I received email from Immigration that I have to submit, Medical, Passport, Police Certificate,Proof of PR payment and Financial information.

hi quete its fine for visitor to submit bank statement from here all there concerns that you are not receiving social assistance or welfare and you are able to support yourself.

I think that is okay. It does not show any intent in terms of immigration I think since people open bank accounts over the world all the time to avoid tax, invest in another country, avoid risk etc.

I just submitted my reply yesterday. It includes bank statements, investment certificates and an explanation that I'll likely find a job if the situation warrants.

Since my english not good enough, can you send me sample of explanation Smile

Both from my home country (in English) and here.

Unfortunately I can't send you the explanation. I believe it's not appropriate to send my legal representative's work to non-clients.

yeah sure. there appear to be some hesitation on your part to provide your canadian bank statement to ircc. just wanting to understand why. 

on a side note, it is definitely positive if they are asking for the RPRF upfront...

Just want to share some updates of my application, hope it brings some light to people who are still waiting :)

Application Submitted - July 21, 2017
Application Received - July 29,2017
In Process - April 10, 2018
AIP - Nov.28, 2018
CIC Ask for Medical Exam and Police Clearance - Feb.17, 2019
- Medical Exams done on Mar 7, 2019, police clearance submitted on Mar.11, 2019.
ECAS system update: Medical results received and passed - Mar.21,2019, background check also started. 

 Btw I'm applying in Toronto, the files first got submitted to Vancouver BRO office - HM(Humanitarian Migration) department, then transferred to Toronto HM for processing. After AIP, the files got transferred to Niagara HM.

hi soloboy before you received your aip are you have an status in canada while you waiting your first stage of approval under h&c application? because mine apply aug2017 and received also aug 2017 and in process may 2018 but until now no update and i had status in canada still.it turning 11 months waiting this april 2019 for in process status on my application.

Yes, I am a student and I have a study permit. Don't worry, I believe your AIP will come soon, probably the officer for your case just needs a bit more time.
