Hi
We had our medical exams this week (for London embassy) and my husband is concerned that the doctor misunderstood his alcohol levels. He told her that he had a drink maybe three times a week and one beer each time. However she then asked what was the most he drank in one night in the last two weeks, so he confirmed 3/4 beers as he'd had a night out with friends. He's now concerned that she has written down that he has 3/4 beers three times a week. Is this likely to affect the result of his medical exam and prevent us getting permanent resident visas? Thanks |

It will not going to affect your case for PR, unless there is some problem in health condition.
It does not make sence to reject people on the basis of drinking beer or alcohol/ Smoking.
Decision is all depends upon the health condition of Applicants.
The concerned disease are HIV, TB, Hepatitis or other chronic disease which demands high medical attention for long time.
Thanks

Frequency of drinks should not be a factor. However, if the frequency has a current health affect, which the doctor may identify, then maybe. However, it is unlikely. Canadians like their beer too :)
