Well, for my wife's interview was fairly quick and though she wasn't asked a lot of questions, she was given tough questions and needed a lot of explaining and detail. 

It's hard to say. It really depends on the interviewer and the way you questions are being answered. My wife was able to answer everything right away, even though sometimes the interviewer may ask her other personal questions and details about our first meeting. 

Also, in the beginning of the interview, my wife was asked what my parents' names were and what their jobs were. 

In the end of the day, understand that every interview is different. Your wife may be asked questions that are different than what my wife was asked. Her interview may last longer or even maybe shorter. It really differs for everybody. 

Before my wife's interview, all we did was pray and hope that things would be okay. Good luck to you!

	Hi all, Just to provide you a quick update on our case: My wife got her visa two days ago via EMS. This was out timeline (some approximations as I dont recall the actual dates): 2010 Nov-01: App received in Beijing & passport request 2010 Nov-05: File under review 2010 Jan-07: Decision made 2010 Jan-10: Letter sent 2010 Jan-11: Visa received She'll be landing after Chinese New Year! At the end I was amazed and impressed about the speed. Thank you all for your support and information!

	Mine just changed to code 13 "Application finalized"...Does that mean the visa is given? Or could it still mean they refused?

	@dli2k3 If your wife did not get any request for interview, then yes, your wife will get her visa very soon! :)
