I know HK uses Registered Mail. I'd assume Beijing does too.

Hey guys, maybe a silly question to be asking, but does anyone know if Chinese spouses need an exit visa or 'departure certificate' from the PSB in order to leave China via Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou? My wife is not a cadre but I'm wondering if she'll need one all the same. We plan to fly out of Beijing. Thanks! |

it seems you don't need an "exit card" anymore for Chinese citizen to leave China.

Great. Finally got hold of the PSB and they seemed confused at the question, hahaha. Found out what you just said. Thanks again.

Hey Guys , i can see this thread is no more alive!
Does it mean everyone applying through Beijing got their visas already? if not , please let's get together and share our experiences!
I am in Canada i am sponsoring my wife who is in China(not Chinese citizen though)
I was approved as a sponsor on Jan 10th 2012 and the file was transferred to Beijing for further processing. We we're still waiting to hear from them . Really wish this happens fast! haven't seen my wife for 5 months now how long to wait again? only God knows , miss her so much !
Any imputs?
