Hello
my case is difficult....
My boyfriend and me want to get married, but he was deported from Canada twice
He is back In Canada, but we dont know what is the options we have to get married and he can get his permanent resident status.
I would really appreciate some advice and even if somebody can recommend me a good inmigration lawyer
Thanks

This appears to really be more about family class sponsorship than skilled worker immigration, so I moved it here.

Assuming he is back in Canada legally, to sponsor him for PR you need to get married (or establish common law with a full year of cohabitation) and you need to be eligible to sponsor him for PR. The CIC web site has most of what you need to know about this kind of Permanent Residence application, including what you need to know about being eligible to sponsor.

A lawyer can certainly help. Not cheap.

If he is not legally in Canada, or is otherwise still inadmissible, that needs to be addressed first, sooner rather than later. If a person is deported, that usually entails some restrictions limiting capacity to return to Canada. But the term "deported" is also often used loosely, not meaning a formal deportation.

In other words, if he is legally back in Canada, odds are good that if you marry and you are eligible to sponsor (again, see CIC web site), that is the way to get him his PR status. But if he was formally deported, there are probably some restrictions involved and getting a lawyer's help would then be imperative.
Bureaucracy is what bureaucracy does, or When in doubt, follow the instructions. Otherwise, follow the instructions.

BTW: Not an expert, not a Can. lawyer, never worked in immigration

1. 2 previous deportations? It is 99.99 % that he is here without status again.
2. As soon as CIC/CBSA learns that he is in Canada, you can bet that there will be a warrant issued.
