Time lines have gone up.
The quota given for 2011 - 12 will not cover even the first 3 months of 2004. Things are clear but have gone from bad to worse. Some of us have always been over positive and prayed and hoped and have been confident that things will improve. However, Things have gone totally the opposite way. There are times when we have to face the reality and not live in false hopes of miracles to happen. As per the current scenerio and the trend of past few years and the future reports & policies we do not see 2004 clearing in the next 3-4 years. Now we have 2 main options: 1. (the easy one) Keep waiting and hoping that things will change next year and they will give main priority to the old backlog and will stop the Fast track to first clear the backlog in the next 4-5 years. 2. (difficult, needs efforts) We form an association and project our plight thru the Canadian media, It is upto us (the members of this forum) choice is ours. No one else is going to come to our rescue. Congrats binods, your case is testimony to the fact that one corner of CHC is still working for backloggers ! Hope you will get the passports soon. When do you plan to land ? (my suggestion do so before Sept/oct , else cold weather makes initial settlments bit difficult) ...Now you are in second stage of the struggle though I believe immigration is a 'positive' struggle with lot of long term gains :-) Cheers once again! regards |

I second Sandhu, go there sooner then later and be prepared for a lot of struggle for atleast 1 year. Would advise you to go alone and then call your family begnning next summers.

Hi Guys,
I hope most of you have been waiting since long for the immigration. I have been in Canada since last 1 year. few tips that I have learnt after coming to Canada and would like to share that one need lot of patience also must have courage to start a life from scratch and need to be focus in what you want to in Canada. Never ever come with a short term goal then you are on a wrong direction. If you have substantial bank balance then its very good as you can be more relaxed and focus in doing what you wanna do than thinking about income in first 2 years I would say. Take the right path like taking further education or evaluation of your certificates. This place is a paradise for the people who have burnt their bridges after coming here cos they know they have come here to make it...:) All the best guys... God bless you all.. |
