Hi all,
I learned several posts in this forum saying that changing province while the application for citizenship is in process can cause delay. What about moving and informing CIC of the new address while the file is still in Sydney and has not been transferred yet to local office. I think it shouldn't have any effect.
Any idea?

If you move you must inform CIC, that way CIC will always have your correct address on their file.
It depends on CIC whether they will send file to new province/office or still transfer the file to office in last province/office... |

Updating the address in Sydney takes short time comparing to the file transfer process between to local offices.

Yeah edmotonresident is correct, plus it saves him/her the cost of travel between provinces for test/oath.......and it is very convenient to have local office nearby....rather than in another province.....
