Study permit while married to canadian citizen

Hi,

I am applying for school in Canada, and my boyfriend is a Canadian citizen.
If we got married before I applied for the study permit, would it affect my ability to get the permit?

I'm asking because I know that being married to a Canadian citizen can affect my ability to get a tourist visa to Canada.
