Motivation is a big factor in learning languages. I am a language person and I love to learn different languages. But I also had to be motivated to learn each languages that I did learn. Hypnotize yourself into motivating yourself. You will make more friends if you know French. You will get all the jokes they have on TV and in advertisements. You will be able to do everyday stuff when you know the language. I have found that one of the best achievements in learning a language is when you can crack a joke in that language and make others laugh. Then you know that you master the language AND the culture. People namely laugh at different things in different countries and cultures...
